At Diamondcrest, our primary devotion is to the health and safety of our dogs, our family, and your future family member. To provide the best environment for our litters to thrive, we maintain the following visitor policy:

The "Puppy Yard" Access

To maintain a secure and stress-free environment, we do not allow visitors inside our home. All scheduled visits are held exclusively in our dedicated Puppy Yard.

• Parking: Please park at the gate upon arrival.

 

The < Five-Week "Hands-Off" Rule

The first several weeks of a puppy's life are a critical period for their developing immune system. To protect them from unnecessary risk:

• Under 5 Weeks: Visits are for viewing only. For the safety of the litter, puppies are strictly "hands-off" during this time.

• 5 Weeks & Older: Once puppies reach five weeks of age, supervised handling is permitted. We will provide hand sanitizer for all guests to use before any contact with the puppies.

 

Why Bio-Security Matters

Mothers and their newborn litters are highly vulnerable to outside germs. Even the most well-meaning visitor can unintentionally carry bacteria or viruses (such as Parvovirus or Distemper) on their hands, shoes, or clothing. By limiting access to the Puppy Yard and enforcing our 5-week rule, we ensure your puppy has the strongest start possible.

 

Visitor Requirements

• No Outside Pets: For the safety of our animals and yours, please do not bring any outside dogs or pets onto the property.

• Health First: If you or anyone in your party has been unwell, or has visited a shelter or another kennel in the past 24 hours, we kindly ask that you reschedule.

• FaceTime Alternative: We are always happy to schedule a FaceTime call so you can see the parents and the puppies in their home environment from the comfort of yours.
