​We’re happy to welcome families who are seriously considering a puppy from a particular litter. Because young puppies are especially vulnerable to outside germs, every visit is carefully planned with the health and safety of our puppies, our family and our guests in mind.

Viruses such as Parvo can be carried onto the property without anyone realizing it—on hands, shoes, clothing or other animals. We appreciate your help following these guidelines so our puppies can continue growing in a safe, healthy environment.

 

Please Leave Other Pets at Home

For the safety of our animals and yours, please do not bring outside dogs or other pets onto the property.

 

Health Comes First

If you or anyone in your party has been unwell, please let us know so we can reschedule your visit. We also ask that you reschedule if you have visited a shelter, pet store, kennel or another location with unfamiliar dogs during the previous 24 hours. Even when no illness is visible, contagious germs can travel home with us on our hands, clothing and shoes.

 

Visits Take Place in Our Puppy Yard

To maintain a safe, secure and low-stress environment, we do not allow visitors inside our home. All in-person visits are held in our dedicated Puppy Yard, where families can spend time with the puppies in a comfortable and supervised setting.

 

The Five-Week Rule

• Puppies under five weeks old - Visits are for viewing only. For the health and safety of the litter, puppies are strictly hands- off during this early stage.

• Puppies five weeks and older - Supervised handling is permitted. We provide hand sanitizer and ask every guest to use it before having contact with the puppies.

 

Prefer to Meet Virtually?

We’re always happy to schedule a video call. You can see the puppies, meet their parents when available and ask questions from the comfort of your home. A video visit is also a wonderful first step if you’re still deciding whether a particular puppy—or Diamondcrest—is the right fit for your family.
